Visit the ArtsFest being organized together by United Arts of Central Florida and Bank of America. Being held from 3rd to 6th of February, this event gives you an insight into the Central Florida’s arts and culture scene. The free admission festival is being held at venues across four counties including Lake, Orange, Seminole and Osceola. Among the activities are children’s events, heritage festival, theatre etc.
On the 6th of February African American Read-In, an event commemorating the Black history month will be flagged off by Karen Quinones Miller. Literature by acclaimed Afro-American authors will be on display including readings by authors themselves. Mikado a Japanese style opera will be held between 11 and 15 of February. It recounts a charming and a humorous tale of Mikado’s son who rebels against his father to marry an ugly and an elderly woman.
Minnesota Orchestra which debuted in 1907 is due to give yet another surely memorable performance on February 20th. Enjoy an outdoor concert performed by Michael Andrew & Swingerhead amidst a beautiful garden on February 14th along with your Valentine.
